Get ready to sketch-blog at PDX2010!

Have you enjoyed the posts we've been doing here so far? We still have more coming, and we hope you do too!

Next week we'll be opening the PDX2010 blog to all Symposium participants. That's right, you'll be able to post your sketches here too, introduce yourself, share links to your work, post questions, tell us what sketching gear you are packing and what you expect to get out of the Symposium.

The blog will be the visual journal of the class of 2010. Think of it as a place to meet, share and learn — before, during and after the Symposium. All levels of expertise are welcomed, please post away and don't feel self-conscious. You'll get nothing but encouragement!

After Monday, you'll be receiving an invitation to join the blog via e-mail. Follow the instructions and you'll be ready to blog in a matter of minutes. We recommend that you start by introducing yourself with a sketch and a photograph, something along the lines of the meet the correspondents introductions you can read on the Urban Sketchers site. A couple of paragraphs would do, but feel free to write as much as you'd like.
