Postcards from Portland

I once regarded sending postcards to friends and family while traveling a thankless chore. Then I started Urban Sketching! It may still be a chore, but it's far from thankless.

The main lesson I've learned since doing these two years ago is that it's better to use proper watercolor paper in postcard-form than attempt sketches on the slick, already-printed-on backs of commercial postcards.

There's no need to think up words, and even if you sketch the same thing for multiple people, each version will be unique.

    میلگرد یک نوع مصالح ساختمانی است که به صورت شاخص‌های طولی و استوانه‌ای تولید می‌شود و معمولاً از فولاد ساخته می‌شود. این مصالح در انواع مختلف در پروژه‌های ساختمانی و صنعتی استفاده می‌شوند. گاربرد‌های اصلی میلگرد عبارتند از:
    ساخت و ساز: میلگرد به عنوان یکی از مهمترین مصالح ساختمانی در بناهای مختلف استفاده می‌شود. آنها برای ساخت ستون‌ها، بالا‌بندها، بندهای خرپایی و سایر بخش‌های سازه‌های بتنی و فولادی استفاده می‌شوند.
    تسلیح بتن: میلگرد به عنوان تسلیح‌کننده اصلی در بتن استفاده می‌شود. با تراکم میلگرد در داخل بتن، مقاومت بتن در برابر فشار و کشش افزایش می‌یابد و سازه‌هایی با مقاومت بهتر در برابر بارهای مختلف ایجاد می‌شود.

    میلگرد به دلیل مقاومت و قابلیت انعطاف مناسب خود در مختلف صنایع و پروژه‌های ساختمانی به کار می‌رود.
